Key Responsibilities
- Routing & Switching : Hands on experience in routing and switching, ensuring seamless network operations.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnosis : Handle and resolve Level 1 issues from customers, providing satisfactory solutions.
- OSI Layers Expertise : Detailed understanding of OSI layers, their functions, and protocols at each level.
- TCP/IP Knowledge : Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, including windowing and handshake mechanisms.
- DHCP Operation : Expertise in DHCP operations in both layer 2 and layer 3 scenarios.
- Escalation Management : Timely escalation of complex cases to L2/L3 Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for resolution.
- Communication Skills : Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- 24X7 Support : Ability to work in rotational shifts to provide 24X7 support to global customers.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience : 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in network engineering, with a focus on routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
- Education : Graduate degree in a related field.
- Skills : Strong understanding of OSI layers, TCP/IP protocols, and DHCP operations, Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Availability : Willingness to work in 24X7 rotational shifts, ensuring continuous support for clients.
